I am considering buying a pair of these. I found an

old thread with the specs and I googled them to
discover that these were a European sold model.
Has anyone had any experience with these?
Thanks.

Patrick

They are alot like the 380SE's. If they are under

400$ then they are a good deal. They go loud and
sound awesome. And they wont need a refoam as
the foam is cloth. Kinda like PA woofers

Whats the asking price? These are highly

regarded speakers among CV fans. They are
quite rare, too!

Here's the deal with me wanting these CV's.... I

have some Infinity RS-II's, which are absolutely
fantastic sounding speakers, BUT, they are so
damn inefficient. I wanted to find a nice pair of
Klipsch but there were none that I wanted that
were in my price range. These CV's came along
and I have heard that for my music listening habits
(mostly loud 80's metal, with some classical and
blues, here and there) these speakers would do
the job. I have a Soundcraftsmen PCR-800 amp
and an Adcom preamp, along with other various
vintage receivers(two Yamahas, Kenwood,
Sansui, Hitachi, Onkyo) a Proton integrated amp
and misc eq's. I think these CV's will be much
more versitile and basically louder with my
existing bargain equipment. This will actually be
my largest purchase for audio equipment thus far,
so I am pretty excited. When I get them, I will post
some pics.

Yes, they look very similar to PD-9's and 380
SE's. From what I'm aware of these are special
editions like the CD-9 that you are looking at. So
yea, those babies are special, I would go and get
them.:thmbsp: If you don't like them, let me know,
I'll take them off your hands. no joke..

There ya go. If ya wanna crank 80's metal then

they are awesome! And get loud with VERY little
power! 300 is a good price, too as they shouldent
need any repairs (not old enough for recap and
the woofers use cloth rather than foam
