Transmitter Programing Guide
OR
Many times customers will want to reprogram remotes
because the vehicle does not remote start. Programming
remotes may not solve their issue. Here are a few
questions you may ask:
Antenna:
Usually located in the windshield behind the
rearview mirror. Some versions will have a
red LED(light) and the newer ones have a
blue LED. The newer versions also have a
button integrated into the antenna(A.P.B.) to
replace the need to use the hood pin.
Main Module:
Usually located under the driver side dash
board and secured with Zip Ties(tie wraps)..
By The Ignition Switch
∙ Open the hood(hood pin must be installed).
∙ Turn the key to the ON position.
∙ Press and release the brake pedal.
∙ Cycle the ignition OFF - ON – OFF – ON – OFF.
Warning! At the end, the key should end at OFF.
If sequence is done successfully, the parking lights will blink 4 times.
∙ Press and Hold any button on the transmitter for 3 seconds to store the
remote.
The parking lights will flash 1 time.
∙ Repeat the previous step for any additional transmitter that needs to be
learned in the system.
∙ Press the brake pedal once to exit learning mode
By The Dip Switch
∙ Set Dip Switch # 8 up (inner side of the module) and press the brake
pedal.
The led next to dip switches will flash once.
∙ Press and Hold any button on the transmitter for 3 seconds to store the
remote.
The led will flash rapidly and the park lights will flash 1 time once the
remote is learned.
∙ Repeat the same sequence for any additional transmitter that needs to
be learned to the system
∙ Set Dip Switch #8 down and press and release the brake pedal.

Main Module:
Dip switches Usually located under the driver side dash
board and secured with Zip Ties(tie wraps).
The unit size is roughly the size of a VHS tape.
Hood pin:
Usually located under the hood on the driver side. Mounted
either to a metal bracket or drilled into a metal piece of the
vehicle. This switch is spring loaded. Rust typically interferes
with correct operation of the switch. Twisting the switch
clockwise/counterclockwise while gently pulling up on the
switch usually “cleans” the contact point enough for operation.

Prepare the vehicle system to be Paired with a new
remote
∙ Open a door.
∙ Turn the key to the ON position.
∙ Within 5 seconds press and release the Control button , then press and
hold
The status LED will flash one time and the siren (if installed) then chirps
to confirm the vehicle is ready for remote pairing.
∙ Release the Control button and proceed below.
Note: If no remote pairing results, the system will exit after 60 seconds
Prepare the new remote to be Paired with the system
∙ With the HD remote control display blank, press in and hold the menu
wheel for 3 seconds until Settings screen appears.
∙ Toggle the menu wheel until Adjustments screen appears and Press in
on the menu wheel to enter.
∙ In the Adjustments menu highlight Remote Pair and press the menu
wheel to go to the Remote Pair screen.
∙ Press and hold the Lock button until confirmation tones are played.
The system chirps the siren to indicate it has learned the HD remote ID
and is sending its ID to the remote.
∙ Release the Lock button.
∙ Successful or Failed Pair: The HD remote control indicates a successful
or failed pairing on the display.
Note: After a successful pairing, the remote then returns to the
Adjustments menu.
If pairing fails, it returns to the Remote Pair screen, press the Lock
button to attempt another pairing.

Frequently Asked Questions
∙ Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed to a unit at any given
time.
∙ Any additional transmitters programmed will “bump” the oldest
transmitter out of programming.
