As technology continues to advance and become an integral part of our daily lives, it has also

become a crucial tool for education. However, not all students have access to the necessary
technology and internet connection to complete their homework and keep up with their studies. This
is known as the \"homework gap\".

The homework gap is a term coined by Jessica Rosenworcel, a member of the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC), to describe the disparity between students who have access to
high-speed internet and those who do not. According to a report by the FCC, approximately 12
million students in the United States do not have access to broadband internet at home, making it
difficult for them to complete their homework and keep up with their peers.

For students without internet access at home, completing homework assignments becomes a
daunting task. They are often forced to find alternative places to access the internet, such as libraries
or community centers, which may not always be available. This not only adds to the already heavy
workload of students but also puts them at a disadvantage compared to their peers who have reliable
internet access at home.

Moreover, the homework gap also highlights the issue of the digital divide, where low-income and
rural communities are disproportionately affected due to the lack of access to affordable high-speed
internet. This further widens the educational gap between students from different socioeconomic
backgrounds.

So, what can be done to bridge the homework gap and ensure that all students have equal access to
education? One solution is to advocate for policies that support the expansion of broadband internet
access to underserved communities. This includes initiatives such as the FCC's E-Rate program,
which provides funding for schools and libraries to obtain affordable internet access.

In the meantime, students can also seek help from online resources such as ⇒ StudyHub.vip ⇔ to
assist them with their homework. This platform offers professional writing and editing services to
help students with their academic assignments. By utilizing such services, students can ensure that
they are able to submit high-quality homework assignments, regardless of their access to technology
and internet.

It is time to address the homework gap and provide equal opportunities for all students to succeed.
Let's work towards a future where every student has access to the necessary resources to excel in
their education.
LGBT Tech has long been supportive of Commissioner Rosenworcel and the FCC’s efforts to bridge
the digital divide in the United States through initiatives such as the Emergency Broadband Program
(EBB) and the Universal Service Program (Lifeline). However, the digital divide is still real for these
states, along with other pandemic-related struggles. Other times, she stayed after school well after
the final bell had rung, just to get online and finish her assignments. US Census Bureau, “ Age by

success. Cities are also taking a fresh look at their urban infrastructure and re-imagining it for the
information age. One of our major recommendations is to promote digital equity and close the
Homework Gap. How might the FCC ensure that this money is well-spent when it comes to both
devices and connectivity. Now, with a number of devices and programs available to teachers, kids
are using education technologies to help prepare for the future. That in itself can lead to greater
academic success. When they asked the kids what was going on, they said they were there to access
the WiFi. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having
side effect, people could take a signal. This record will help the FCC consider next steps to meet the
