Why is Resistor Homework So Difficult?

Resistors are one of the fundamental components in electronic circuits. They are used to control the
flow of electricity and are essential in building any electrical device. However, understanding their
properties and how to use them in different circuit configurations can be challenging for students. It
requires a strong understanding of Ohm's law, series and parallel circuits, and other complex
concepts.

Eventually if you continue with this, you will have a voltage at every node and thus be able to
calculate the current at all paths. You are saying that the voltage from V3 to the current source 2A
will be the same. And while they may be needed to make the circuit work, they do NOT. I was
including the 8 ohm resistor as well as the 2A current in my calculation for the KVL, instead of
omitting them. A limitation of a 3 battery resistor circuit is that it can be more complex and expensive
to set up compared to a single battery circuit. This is attached here as a powerpoint but the original

resistors limit the flow of current. It doesn't change if you apply KVL to different loops that happen

The circuit is completed when the current flows from the positive terminal of the first battery,

So starting from an end (one side of the voltage source), think where currents are larger and smaller

replace each voltage source with a '0 V source' (a wire) and each current source with a '0 A source'
(an open).
