Should Homework Be Graded in High School
Homework has been a staple in the education system for decades. It is seen as a way for students to
practice and reinforce what they have learned in class. However, there has been a growing debate on
whether or not homework should be graded in high school. Some argue that it is necessary for
students to be held accountable for completing their assignments, while others believe that grading
homework puts unnecessary pressure on students and does not accurately reflect their understanding
of the material.
Our Recommendation
After considering both sides of the argument, we believe that homework should not be graded in
high school. While it is important for students to complete their assignments, grading homework can

necessary for students to be graded on their homework. By focusing on understanding the material
and seeking help when needed, students can still excel in their studies without the added pressure of
