Dear Mrs. Gutierrez,

Greetings!

As a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional with over nine years of extensive public
service and well-developed field knowledge, I am excited to be applying for the position
of Population Program Officer I that will be assigned at the Office of the City Social
Welfare and Development Officer. This position was advertised on the official website of
the City Government of Malolos. I would appreciate it if you would consider my
qualifications for this position. I have an impressive academic history in public
administration, as demonstrated in the accompanying Personal Data Sheet, and I
anticipate graduating with honors and receiving my Doctoral Degree in December 2023.

My Master's degree has provided me with a solid foundation in administrative principles,


and I have developed a balanced appreciation of both the theoretical concepts and
practical applications of management and finance, in addition to an understanding of how
these facets of government interact with one another.

Allied to this, my work experience as Provincial District Administrator in the office of


Congressman Kuya Jose Antonio R. Sy Alvarado provided me with an understanding of
practical administrative procedures, and I was pleased to be able to contribute to the
office's efficiency by devising new processes and workflow to reduce red tape and
expedite transactions in order to provide constituents with financial, medical, and other
much-needed assistance.

Prior to being Administrator, I worked as a Public Information and Communications


Assistant at the Optical Media Board (OMB) in the Office of the President. My work
involves collaborating closely with the Chairman and CEO, Atty. Christian D. Natividad,
to provide adequate, accurate, and factual information. I have a proven track record of
developing and executing successful communications campaigns. I have also done a
great job of managing relations with the media and making friends with key reporters and
editors.
With this background and seven years of experience at the City Government of Malolos
as Administrative Aide, I would like to gain additional experience in the same agency but
on a progressive level of work. Your recently posted job vacancy is of great interest, and
I am particularly keen to learn more about the administrative challenges that may arise
together with the responsibility. I trust that I will be able to offer you the benefit of the skills
and experience I have gained to date, which will allow me to contribute effectively to your
organization.
