Council for Teachers Professional Development (CTPD)

We are a professional organization (NGO) dedicated to the development and empowerment of
higher education teachers in India. At the Council for Teachers Professional Development
(CTPD), our mission is to foster a strong community of educators who are equipped with the
knowledge, skills, and resources to provide quality education and contribute to the growth of
our nation.

CTPD Initiatives:
Conferences, Seminars, and Workshops: We organize a series of conferences, seminars, and
workshops that bring together educators from various higher education institutions. These
events serve as platforms for sharing insights, exchanging ideas, and fostering collaboration
among teachers. By participating in these events, teachers can stay updated with the latest
pedagogical practices and research in their respective fields.
Training Programs and Faculty Development: We conduct training programs and faculty
development initiatives to enhance the professional skills of teachers. Through these programs,
we offer specialized training modules on teaching methodologies, classroom management,
assessment techniques, and the effective use of technology in education. Our goal is to
empower teachers with the necessary tools and knowledge to create an engaging and impactful
learning environment.
Collaboration with Higher Education Institutions: CTPD India collaborates with various higher
education institutions to organize joint programs and initiatives. We believe in the power of
partnerships and work closely with universities, colleges, and educational organizations to
promote excellence in teaching and learning. These collaborations include faculty exchange
programs, research partnerships, student exchange programs, and the development of joint
projects.
Publication of Edited Books: We publish edited books in collaboration with renowned
publishers, focusing on key areas of education and research. These books serve as valuable
resources for teachers, researchers, and education enthusiasts, providing insights into
innovative teaching practices, educational policies, and advancements in the field of education.
MOUs for Research and Collaborative Programs: We actively engage in Memorandums of
Understanding (MOUs) with institutions and organizations for research collaborations and
