Upon the successful completion of the course students shall be able to:

1. Understand the working of measuring instruments.


2. Choose proper measuring instruments for specific problems.
3. Make use of measuring instruments.
4. Examine measuring instruments for force, torque and shaft power measurement.
5. Evaluate measuring instruments for temperature measurement.
6. Formulate measuring instruments for speed, vibration, liquid level and humidity measurement.
