Classroom Norms
· Be Punctual
· Dress Formally
· Choose a quiet place, away from distraction.
· Eating and munching are not allowed.
· Be hydrated, keep your water bottle handy.
· Be prepared (Pencil, pen, notebook or other resources suggested).
· No Phones or toys during class.
· Turn off other devices.
· Use the Raise Hand option to ask questions or to give answers.
· For any clarification, movement or emergency kindly inform via chat

Preposition
Aim: Students will be
able to understand and
apply Preposition.
What is a Preposition?
A Preposition is a word that shows the position of things.
Example:
1. The chair is in the wrong corner.
2. She is hiding behind the curtain.
3. The books are under Mark’s chair.
Kinds of Prepositions
There are primarily three kinds of
Prepositions:
❖ Prepositions of Place
❖ Prepositions of Time
❖ Prepositions of Direction
Prepositions of Place
Prepositions that tell us about the position of things
are called Prepositions of place.
Example:
1. The ball is behind the box.
2. The winner is on the victory stand.
3. The children are in the hall.
Prepositions of Time
Prepositions that tell us when something
happened are called Prepositions of time.
Example: At 6o’clock
1. I get up at 7o’clock. At Night
2. His birthday is on March 27th. On Days of the week
3. We go to the beach in summer. On Sunday
On Monday

Prepositions of Directions
Prepositions that are used to show direction to or
from a place are called Prepositions of direction.
Example:
1. He walked through the door.
2. Can you jump over the fence?
3. The principal walked towards the student.
