homework and years where it was a continual struggle. When the students bring it back it gets them
a ticket to play homeworkoply. I'm so famous for finding something I can't keep up with in regards
to HW rewards. When I first saw it this morning I immediately pinned it and put it on my wishlist. I
haven't ever done anything very thrilling as a homework incentive. I have students who homeschool
three out of five days a week who absolutely need to turn in their completed work. I tried a punch
card this past year, but it didn't work for me. With the addition of Ady’s Place and Gerson’s Place,
our vibrant “urban kibbutz” in San Francisco’s Laurel Heights will now include multiple beautiful
residences for neurodivergent adults. I teach Kindergarten and many of the parents didn't take
homework seriously last year. I think a homework club might be a help to both parents and students.
If you are interested in applying for funding for 2025, please contact the Centre for Multicultural
Youth (CMY). Even if it motivates parents to help - it'll be successful. I am curious, do you give all
the homework on Monday for them to complete throughout the week, or is it given out every day.

wrong and make corrections. There are the kids that just don't bother with homework, ever. In
addition to providing plenty of opportunity for members to spend time with one another, it offers
inter-generational opportunities, too: preschoolers from the nursery school next door stop by
regularly for arts and crafts, nature activities, or music. We share lunchroom duty and are free every

them!) but they can secretly miss one assignment here and there and I don't make a fuss about it. I
am curious, do you give all the homework on Monday for them to complete throughout the week, or
is it given out every day. I have my students fill out a missing homework slip when they don't bring
in an assignment. It is mandatory to procure user consent prior to running these cookies on your

motivator. Love that this rewards those who are doing what they should and encourage those who
need it. Hopefully this will motivate those kids who rarely do their homework. However, I also
believe that we have to teach our students to succeed in spite of things they may be facing at home
and an easy way we can do that is to encourage responsibility when it comes to homework. Then
when it happens time after time, the students think it is ok. Since I have been using the slips, I have
less missing homework. Six-year-old Fartun grabbed the attention of a volunteer while she filled out
her survey. Anyway, if students have turned in their homework all quarter there's a big field trip
(pool, bowling alley, movie, etc.) I really want to add something that motivates my students in the
mean time though. So, first and foremost, if you haven’t already done so, make reading your school
