PETER PARKER was bitten by a radioactive spider and gained the

proportional speed, strength and agility of a SPIDER, adhesive
fingertips and toes, and the unique precognitive awareness of
danger called “SPIDER-SENSE”! After the tragic death of his
Uncle Ben, Peter understood that with great power there must
also come great responsibility. He became the crimefighting
super hero called...

Norman Osborn, formerly the Green Goblin, went from inmate to administrator at
Ravencroft Institute,
until the Sin-Eater cleansed him of his sins. Now he has to face everything he’s
done. He claims that
the true threat behind the Sin-Eater--the mysterious villain Kindred--is really his
son, Harry.

Meanwhile, Peter’s Spider-Friends are in trouble. Known as the Order of the Web,
they were helping
Peter against the Sin-Eater when they were consumed by all the sins cleansed by the
Sin-Eater and
turned into demonic versions of themselves. Now they are Kindred’s puppets with
which he plans to
wreak havoc on Spider-Man and the rest of New York City...

She's back! MJ went off to make а movie, and we have all missed her as much as
Peter has, right?

If you're reading this, you are Spidey's TRUE fans! Welcome to the "Last Remains”
tie-in issues. Why are
there tie-in issues separate from the main ASM series? Why isn’t THIS issue just
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
#51? Why do mountains exist? All good questions... The main reason this side series
exists is that the story
Nick told is so huge that it could not be constrained. That probably sounds like
marketing talk or something,
but it’s true. Nick Spencer goes BIG on important stories and he’s got so many
great ideas that they often
demand this sort of treatment. This issue you read sets up the trajectory of
#51.LR-#54.LR. From here,
Spidey goes back into AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #51 to take on Kindred for a fight so
intense and jam-packed
that we couldn't fit the rest of the cast! Norman Osborn’s, the Order of the Web's
and Mary Jane's stories
will be the core of the .LR issues of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. | доп think this spoils
anything, but you won't
be seeing much more of Peter Parker in .LR issues.
