 Prologue
Baisakh 24 of year 2080, when I was assigned to undergo an On-the -Job Training for 300hrs in
one of the most prestigious Organization i.e Mukundapur Saving and Credit Co-operative
Ltd.
The organization was near from my house so it was easy for me to reach there in time. I always
tried to reach there on time.
The environment there was very pleasant. All the staff were helpful and also very caring. The
effort that I made there was really worth it.
I worked there for a total of 300hrs. I learned new skills. I am glad that I performed this OJT.

 1. INTRODUCTION
On the job training (OJT) is job training that occurs in the workplace. On the job training is
also called hands-on training. On the job training has many advantages, but it can also have a
few disadvantages if the OJT is not properly planned and executed. The goal of the OJT program
is to place participants in occupations that will enhance their prospects for long-term
employment and will ultimately permit them to become self-sufficient. OJT involves the
acquisition of specific skills and employment competencies, through exposure in an actual work
setting to the processes, work tasks, tools and methods of a specific job or group of jobs It is the
responsibility of supervisors and managers to utilize available resources to train quality, and
develop their employees.
On-the-job training (OJT) is one of the best training methods because it is planned,
organized, and conducted at the work site. OJT will generally be the primary method used for
broadening skills and increasing productivity. It is particularly appropriate for developing
proficiency skills unique to a person's job, especially jobs that are relatively easy to learn and
require locally-owned equipment and facilities. One major drawback of on the job training can
be finding the right time for it. The person responsible for giving and evaluating the training has
to be sure that his or her other job responsibilities are being met. Another disadvantage of OJT is
that it can be difficult to find the right person to conduct it. The person doing the training must
have the knowledge and skills with the same equipment that the learner will be working with
care must also be given not to pass on.

 2. ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Mukundapur saving & credit co-operative Ltd.
It is a co-operative organization of Nepal which head quarter is located in Gaindakot-11,
Nawalpur, Gandaki province. There are currently four branch of this organization and many
more are planning to be added whose chairperson is Mr. Chakra pani Kandel. And I had gone
to their branch in Harkapur. Whose currently in charge is Mr. Suraj lamichhane sir. There is
peaceful environment and loving helping hands there are many staffs working there they all
helped in a good manner and taught many things which worth to the time. As a manner it was a
great experience to learn different thing related to the banking.
It gives the best quality services to the customers from low to high amount with better amount of
interest so it is the reputeated organization in Nawalpur, Nepal and It will be doing more better in
future.

 3. SKILL LEARNRD
1. Data Entry
All the institutional and organizational has some or many data for their users they user
different database software. Where I worked there was also a database named as INFINITY
BITIYASEWA software which is used to see the data of different people loans, saving accounts,
personal information and so on. The system covers loans saving accounts, deposit, customers
Information and general ledger in one integrated package.
INFINITY offers a low-cost approach towards automation for financial institutions that are
able and willing to standardlize their operation within the range of option. I used to entered data
of different people and search the personal information according to the institution needs. It
shows who has taken how many loans deposit, transaction and many more.

2. Nepali typing
In most of the institutions, many works are don’t through the computer and new
technologies which are developing day by day. In the banking sector we have to enter data in our
computer. For many purposes we use Nepali typing in the banking sector like entering data of
different people about the loan’s deposit, insurance policy, counseling forms and many more. It
was fun to do different things related to the organization. This was beneficial for both of us.
Nepali typing is essential in every sector where we work. It is needed for every organization for a
purpose. If we are expert in Nepali typing we can do multiple tasks through it. I had done making
things some of them are listed below:
1) Entering the data of different people about the loan.
2) Making tum suk documents, counseling forms, insurance form’s banks policies bharpai form.
3) Making the format of voucher bank cash deposit and so on, many works were performed. I
had learned many things from this prestige’s organization.

3. Excel and word

I have also done many work using excel and word’s specially designs and more while
data entry with the excel make a excel format of data entered designed the vector art’s
delineation of cash book using word’s making colander’s making different chart’s bar and many
more and describing the transaction deposited and soon making some distributor file loan and
many more using excel and word .when I was here I don’t have that more knowledge about this
but the staff’s helped me which makes me more easier to work’s. Today it feels like I am an
expert in excel and word while doing their work I have learned many more things. It was helpful
for me and beneficial. It was a great experience to work here. I have got a chance to learn
different new things and explore them.

 4. MISCELLANEOUS
Apart from the major skills there are many little tips I got from my workplace. The staff there
helped me build my confidence and taught me different things. I also got many tips about overall
computer operation. I love learning new things and exploring them out here. I got a chance to
learn much more than I expected thanks to this one whole Mukundapur saving & credit
cooperative ltd. especially in charge of staff and members related to that organization. Also, I
spent a lot of time learning new things from the staff about the banking system and many more
which helps me to enhance my knowledge in the financial sector like banking. It was a fun task
to be honest. I really enjoyed it and it was full of new knowledge. Overall my OJT was
successful. What I have learned in these 3 months was worth it.

I have learned many:

 About operating computers
 About new technology items, database system’s and much more Knowledge.
 I think it will help me for future work. These things were worthy that I have learned

 5. CONCLUSION
OJT is a very beneficial thing if done properly. If everything is managed; the schedule,
the time table, turns, everything, then it is super beneficial. The education system is going
towards a time where skills are prioritized. OJT builds the ability to perform tasks in the real
field. Working in the real field is challenging and also pretty scary. But it develops a very
important skill in student's new employees. For me the OJT was very successful and helpful.
Also, the overall Computer Engineering sector is filled with a better learning environment. The
On-the-Job training is a big yes for learning. It enhances the student’s ability, interest and more.
Practical knowledge and performance are highly prioritized than other things on the OJT. One
has to complete the task in a given time so we should be punctual and should manage our time in
learning and exploring new things.
I am glad to see that our country is also changing and is focused on practical knowledge
and performance from which we can get a huge achievement in future. When I was here I didn't
know that much more about banking and their system but when I completed the internship of 300
hrs. It feels great to know about everything which I have got a chance to work on. Thanks’ Shree
Ratna Rajya Laxmi Secondary School and Mukundapur Saving and Credit Co-Operative Ltd. for
giving us a chance to learn something which was worth it.
