Searching for Contractors
There are three ways to search for a contractor within ISNetworld.

1. To search for a contractor by name, type in the company you wish to search for and click

a. Ensure ‘Hiring Client Company Contractors’ has been selected

b. Ensure you have selected All Sites to search through all contractors

c. Enter the desired contractor’s name and select ‘Search’

2. Alternatively, click

a. Search Fields:

i. Work Type – Select the country, industry classification, then enter a broad term
such as ‘Roofing’ and select the search button to bring up all related work types.
Select one or more activities by holding the Ctrl button on your keyboard.

ii. CA Postal Code – Enter a numerical radius and a valid Postal Code to bring up
all contractors within that designated area.

iii. Office Location – Enter all applicable information to search contractors with an
office location in the area selected.

*All fields are optional.

3. Finally, the map search allows you to search for contractors by narrowing down the Country and
State/Province of their Main and Branch Office locations.
Viewing a Contractor’s Dashboard
1. To view more information about a contractor, click on the company name from the search page.
This will bring up their Scorecard as shown below.

a. Each tab on the left-hand side of the Dashboard Page includes more information and
details on the specific requirements (i.e. Questionnaire, Procurement, Company Profile &
Information)

2. By clicking on each Grading Component, you can view the details of that requirement, and what
the contractor submitted.

3. Or, you may use the tabs on the left of your page to look at each category of information. For
example, to view a contractor’s Health and Safety Programs, select ‘Audits, Evaluations &
Reviews’, then click the ‘Details’ beside this requirement.
ISN Assistance
Within the ‘Company Information’ section, you can view ISN Customer Service Notes.

1. ISN Customer Service Notes – shows when the ISN Customer Service Team last spoke with
the contractor.

2. ISN Assistance – sends a personal request to the ISN Customer Service Team to follow-up on
any outstanding information and you are notified once complete.
Creating a ‘My Contractors’ List
1. From the homepage, select ‘My Contractors’ > ‘My Personal Contractor List’ from the left-hand
navigation.

2. From this page, you can add contractors that you may wish to track on a regular basis. Select
contractors under the ‘Available Contractors’ and move to ‘Selected Contractors’.
Running Custom Reports
Step 1: Creating a New Report
1. Reports tab
2. Click on Custom Report
3. Select Build New Report

Step 2: Select Contractors


1. Choose one of three options:
- Select Hiring Client Contractors to use all connected contractors
- Select My Contractors to select only those companies on your personal list of
contractors
- Select Custom Company List to define a list from all ISNetworld contractors
o An extra step is required for a Custom Company List. Use search filters to
create your list of companies for the report.
2. Select Sites
- Filter by Business Unit (if applicable)
- Select applicable sites
o Data points in the data point selection step will pull based on what site(s)
are selected
3. Click Save & Next

Step 3: Data Points


1. Select Data Points in the left-hand menu bar to add to the Report Builder
- Users can search by keyword or by category
2. Update order of data points by clicking and dragging data points in the Report Builder
(optional)
i. Order will save once you let go of the data point
3. Select applicable filters in the Action column
4. Save or Run Report
- Note: if you click Run Report and do not save on this page, the report will run an
excel file but will not save in the system

Step 4: Save and Schedule Report


1. Click Save Report on the Data Point Selection step
2. Name the report
3. Provide report description (if applicable)
4. Check box next to Share Report (if applicable)
- Search and select applicable employees or share to all employees
5. Check box next to Schedule Report (if applicable)
- Search and select applicable employees
- Setup frequency of report
- Create subject line for the report email
6. Click Save

Step 5: View/Edit a Saved Report


1. From the Custom Report tab, locate the existing report you would like to view/edit
2. Click on Run Report to download new report or select the pencil icon to update report
Email Notifications
Email notifications are not configured by default for each user.

1. From the home page, click on your name on the top of the page, then select ‘My Profile’

2. Select the Email Settings Tab

3. Under Email Options select ‘Forward ISN Messages to My Email Address’ so you do not have to
log-in to ISN to view

4. Under Manage Email Subscriptions, select the category of emails you want to receive and save
then click ‘0 Emails Selected’ to choose the specific email notification

5. Select Save
