and spending time with my precious family is what I love most. And I was impressed to see that
Office Depot carries so much great back to school gear. Plus, we all know how children are, if one
has something, they all want one too haha. My little guys are uber jealous of this area that is designed
with homework in mind, yet happy enough to want to spend time at. Just as my personal vote though
Jen - I think that your guest bloggers often focus their home improvements on very young children. I

time looking for misplaced items. Before official homework time, I ask if he has everything he needs

plus it's pretty. It also works well for hanging his scissors or other office accessories. You can then
help decide what to keep (and where), and his backpack doesn’t become a breeding ground for late
notes and forgotten assignments. It’s also important that the chair is the appropriate height for the
desk so that your kids don’t have to stretch or slouch as they do their homework. You can even hang
a towel rail above the desk and slide on a few small plastic or tin buckets to hold stationery. Read my

colourful paper using double-sided tape. I use to have hooks underneath each of the bulletin boards-
one for each child to hang their backpacks, but two of the hooks came out of the wall overtime from
too much weight (from children trying to pull down their backpacks). Can you tell me where the

organized. I would love for this comment section to be used as a place to engage in purposeful
dialogue, I only ask that everyone remains constructive and considerate. At first, homework hour
was a stressful experience full of tears (mine), yelling and every possible distraction under the sun. I
find that when there is a designated space for work, everyone does better with the routine. All
