    • Entry Fee ₹2,000/- for each participant (Limited Entries will be accepted)
    • The organizer reserves the right to accept or reject any entries without assigning any reason.
    • Free Entry for GMs, IMs, WGMs, WIMs & Above FIDE Rating 2400
    • No request towards waiver of entry fee will be entertained
    • Entry fees once paid will not be refunded.
    • Registration Closes on 30th April 2024.

    Rules and Regulations


    1. System of Play: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System
    with 11 rounds.
    2. Time Control: 25 Minutes + 5 Seconds increment per move from move no..1.
    3. Tie-Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect.
    4. Appeals Committee: Before the commencement of the Tournament, appeals committee will be
    formed from the senior participants present at the players meeting. The appeals committee decisions
    will be final and binding on all participants.
    5. Protests: Protests if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in writing with protest
    fee of Rs.2,000/- (deposited in Organiser’s bank account) within 10 minutes of the occurrence of the
    incident to the appeals committee. The protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is upheld.
    6. Withdrawals: Participants can withdraw from the competition at any stage by formally informing the
    Chief Arbiter in writing. Absence in any round without formally informing the Chief Arbiter will be
    treated as an unauthorised withdrawal.
    7. Default Time (Walkover Time): The default time will be 15 minutes
    8. Wrist Watches & Electronic Items: Any type of wrist watches and any electronic devices are not
    allowed with the players during game.
    9. Certificate: All Players will get E-Certificates.
    10. Prize Distribution Ceremony: Prize winners must attend the ceremony to receive their cash prize or
    trophy; failure to attend will result in forfeiture. Participants cannot leave the venue before the prize
    distribution without the Chief Arbiter's permission.
    11. Accommodation: Outstation players should make their own arrangements.
