Concept Note: Open Recruitment for Student Volunteers

World Water Forum 10th Youth Engagement Program

Introduction
The World Water Forum 10th is the largest international gathering in the water sector
will be held in Bali, Indonesia from May 18th to 25th 2024. With the theme "Water for
Shared Prosperity", the forum brings together global leaders, water experts, and
passionate individuals to address water challenges. This year, we are seeking
passionate and dedicated students to join our team as volunteers. We offer an exciting
opportunity to contribute to a global event, gain valuable experience, and network with
water professionals from around the world.

Program Overview
Selected volunteers (15) will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation
of the Youth Engagement Program: The Bali Youth Plan. We offer various
departments with diverse responsibilities to cater to different interests and skillsets.

Requirements:
• Preferably enrolled as a student in university.
• Preferably residing in Bali or nearby.
• Basic English language proficiency (both written and verbal).
• Good communication skill.
• Demonstrated passion for water issues and a commitment to volunteerism.

Departments and Job Descriptions:


• Administrative: Assist with logistical tasks, registration processes, and data
management.
• Event Management: Ensure the smooth running of events by assisting with
timekeeping, crowd control, and other operational needs.
• Logistics: Manage transportation, equipment, and resources in collaboration
with the team.
• Content Writer: Create engaging content for social media, the website, and
other communication channels.
• Graphic Designer: Design visuals such as posters, presentations, and social
media graphics.
• Video Editor and Documentation: Capture photos and videos of events and
volunteers for official records and basic editing the video content.

*Note: We are grateful for the dedication of our volunteers, who are always ready to be placed in
any division except Graphic Designer and Video Editor/Documentation

Timeline:
• Open Recruitment: March 6th - 9th, 2024 (the deadline is GMT+7 23:59)
• Selection Process: March 10th – 11th, 2024
• Announcement of Results: March 12th, 2024
• Working Period: March 12th, 2024 – May 31th, 2024 (Online pre-event tasks
followed by in-person work during the forum)
