APPLICATION PACKAGING

⮚ Source testing based on the install instruction document. Coordinate with Application owner for any clarification
⮚ Packaging the applications in accordance with the Customer's standards and specifications
⮚ Proactively communicate with Application Package requestors throughout the packaging process to ensure the requestor
is kept informed of progress and that issues are resolved in a timely manner..
⮚ QA checklist followed for performing Quality Assurance in line with best practice.
⮚ Following successful completion of the Quality assurances test, perform UAT for packaged application on the machines provided by
Application requestor
⮚ Make necessary modifications to the Application Package (If an Application Package fails the QA Tests) and repeat the quality
assurance tests until the Application Package passes the QA test.
⮚ If UAT fails, then the work order request will be reopened. The packager has to fix the issues.
⮚ Provide access to specific drives and groups which is required for packaging the application.
⮚ Montoring the deployments status after deployed the application/package and updated the status to customer if we find any issue to
resolve that issue at earliest.
⮚ Preparing technical documents on each & every application / package for future reference.
