Green Buho. Description:
Culms are closely tufted forming a clump more or less 30m tall and up to 100 in a clump. Internodes are green bearing white-waxy bloom. BUHO Leaf blades are smooth above, with very fine hairs underneath.
Spring bamboo shoot is the
young shoot that has broken through the soil and appears above ground, as opposed to winter bamboo shoots that are harvested while they are still in the ground. The tip of the shoot is incredibly tender and SPRING BAMBOO sweet. That’s the reason why they are eagerly anticipated during the few months they are available in the spring. NAME PICTURE DESCRIPTION
Kauayan-kiling is an erect, loosely tufted plant. Stems are yellowish or yellowish- green, up to 17 meters high, 15 centimeters in diameter, naked at the base, without KAWAYAN KILING spiny branches. Leaves are lanceolate, up to 35 centimeters long, 4 centimeters wide, often smaller.
Bayog has many
characteristics similar to the popular Bambusa blumeana (Thorny Bamboo/ Kawayan Tinik). Both Bambusa blumeana and Bambusa spinosa are commonly used in vernacular bamboo houses. BAYOG It is one of the most persistent and predictive in relation to growth and lignification of all the endemic bamboo species in the country, which makes it a highly utilised species.

DWARFED BAMBOO Dwarf bamboo is a small size bamboo species that distributes in Eastern Asia. On the classification of bamboo in Japan, dwarf bamboo is separated from the other bamboos. For dwarf bamboo, the sheath of culm remains until its death, whereas other bamboo species are removed their sheath during the process of culm growth.
