analytical report

- Read the textbook p.275-282  create tables similar to those for informational reports,
which summarise parts of a report, what to write in each part, notes on formating and
content, etc. for the follow reports:
o 01 table for feasibility report
o 01 table for justification/recommendation report (written with indirect approach)
o 01 table for yardstick report (homework)

- Send a representative to present the content of your group’s table

Feasibility Report

There are different way to structure a feasibiltiy report. However, you can choose a systematic
approach by addressing the WH-question as shown in the table below.
- For the Background: this paragraph is where you tell the reader the problem-the reason
why there is such a proposal. Then, you will let the reader know the brief of your
solution-what will be done. Other aspects like who is in charge, when, and where the
solution will be taken place are optional.
- Then you move telling the readers about the anticipated outcomes: How the solution
helps dealing with the problems; the results may be achieved; the merits
- You will go on discuss the shortcomings, the challenges, the objection etc. related to the
solution suggested. You can also propose how to deal with these challenges, which is
optional.
- The next things to mention are the resources in terms of time, money, manpower, tech
etc.
- Last will be the Call for Action: suggesting or asking what to be done next.
