GRAMMAR  Warm up: Teacher starts his class checking the language wrap up of the
VOCABULARY previous unit. Then he introduces some idioms.
PRONUNCIATION  Unit introduction: He introduces the unit talking about some of his Saturday 1
LISTENING abilities. Then SS will listen to people doing some activities, SS will number and
SPEAKING the activities in the order they hear them.
READING COMPREHENSION  Vocabulary activity 1:Teacher introduces the body parts using some cue Saturday 2
WRITING cards. Then SS will listen and number the words in the order they hear them.
Page 40.Ss will listen and label the body with words from a box. Finally SS
will take turns touching some body parts.
 Vocabulary Activity 2:Teacher introduces the days of the week using
colorful flash cards , he introduces the months of the year orally. Then Ss
will listen and repeat the days of the week and months of the year. Page
41.finally SS will work in pairs asking and answering wh questions about the
months and the days of the week.
 Grammar Focus 1:presentation.Teacher introduces can and can’t through
oral and written examples in different forms, then will read some sports
profiles, they will match each profile to the correct picture he explains
function.practice: Ss will complete sentences with can and can’t in their
textbooks. Page 38production:.Finally SS will ask and answer oral
questions using can.
 Grammar focus 2:presentation: Teacher introduces the indefinite articles
through a description in the book. . He explains function practice: SS will

 Video practice: Ss are given class video worksheets of unit 2.they will
watch the video and work on the exercises.
 Listening task:pre: Teacher asks SS for a day a body part and a

listen the type of information to listen for. They listen again and complete a
conversation.post: Teacher and Ss will check the answers.
 Reading practice:pre: Teacher introduces the reading asking students if
they know about an unusual artist.during:Ss will read a text about an
unusual artist. Teacher clarifies new words and correct pronunciation.post:
After they read they will circle the correct option to correct sentences.
