F. Conclusion
In conclusion, this paper has explored the challenges
faced by tournament organizers in the context of a Bachelor
of Science in Esports in the Philippines and the role of
business process modeling in addressing these challenges.
Through an in-depth analysis of the current business process
of tournament organizations in the Philippines and the
proposed business process model, several key findings have
emerged.
Firstly, it is evident that tournament organizers in the
Philippines encounter various challenges, including
scheduling and logistics issues, prize pool distribution
complexities, integrity concerns, technical difficulties, team
and player management complexities, sponsorship and
funding hurdles, audience engagement limitations,
regulatory compliance requirements, and community
management challenges.
However, by incorporating business process modeling
techniques and tools, these challenges can be effectively
addressed. The proposed business process model provides a
systematic and streamlined approach to tournament
organization, offering solutions for scheduling and logistics
optimization, transparent prize pool distribution, integrity
enforcement, technical issue mitigation, an efficient team
and player management, effective sponsorship and funding
management, enhanced audience engagement, regulatory
compliance adherence, and community building.
The strengths of the proposed business process model lie
in its ability to streamline operations, improve efficiency,
enhance participant and spectator experiences, attract
sponsors, foster community engagement, and ensure
adherence to regulatory requirements. It provides a
structured framework for tournament organizers to achieve
success in the dynamic esports landscape.
However, it is essential to acknowledge that there may
be limitations to the proposed business process model.
Factors such as resource constraints, technological
limitations, organizational culture, and external factors
beyond the control of tournament organizers can impact the
implementation and effectiveness of the model.
Additionally, continuous evaluation and adaptation of the
business process model are necessary to address evolving
challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Overall, this research highlights the significance of
business process modeling as a valuable tool for tournament
organizers in the Bachelor of Science in Esports field in the
Philippines. By implementing the proposed business process
model and leveraging appropriate tools and techniques,
tournament organizers can overcome challenges, improve
operations, and deliver successful esports tournaments that
meet the expectations of participants, sponsors, and
