Medical and travel insurance


International students must have appropriate and
current medical and travel insurance from the time
they leave home until the expiration of their student
visa. EIT | Te Pūkenga can organise insurance for you
with our preferred provider Studentsafe Insurance

to you by Marsh/Allianz. There is no insurance
application paperwork to complete unless you have
pre-existing medical conditions. Insurance fees are
included in the invoice along with tuition fees.
Students should contact our Registry team as
soon as possible if they decide to organise their
own insurance as all insurance policies must
meet a minimum standard of care and cover for
