Reflection/Insights about "Who is the Teacher"

A teacher is the precious gift from God to us. A teacher is like a God as God is the builder
of whole universe however a teacher is considered to be the builder of a good nation. Teachers are
very prestigious people in the society who take responsibility to raise the mind status and living
standard of the common people through their magic of teaching. Parents have lots of expectations
from the teachers of their kids. The role of teachers varies from classroom to playground and from
student to student. A teacher is very important in the life of everyone who is supposed to be
performing different tasks in our life. Before coming to the classroom, a good teacher ensures
his/her goals of education on daily basis. Every teacher has different qualities of teaching their
students. They vary in their knowledge, ski lls, and attitudes in teaching specific subjects. They try
their best and do all efforts in helping us to achieve our goals in life. School life is considered as
the best time of everyone’s life as this is the time when everyone learns basic things about life and
different subjects.
A teacher can be any one, depending on the circumstances. When a child is born, s/he
remains in the custody of his/her mother and during this period of time, s/he learns to speak, walk
and do many other activities. If a person who teaches is called teacher, so it is his/her mother who
taught him/her the basic things of life. His/her mother can be called as his/her first teacher in fact;
all of us have this in common. For a new born baby, his/her mother is the best teacher whereas,
for a student it can be his dance teacher or his/her math’s teacher. Anyone who gives you
knowledge and enhances your intelligence can be your teacher. An ant can also be your teacher
because it teaches us to work hard continuously without losing hope. All this concludes that a
teacher does not have a particular face or religion, who so ever in this world teaches you any kind
of lesson, can be your teacher. While in school, teachers introduce you to some subjects and they
develop your skills and interest in a particular one. It can be science, literature or other subjects
like drawing, music etc. It is not that every child has super abilities; it is a teacher who points out
your skills and helps you to develop them. A good teacher can turn a boring subject quite
interesting. A teacher is always very important for us because he gives bookish as well as practical
knowledge and sometimes practical knowledge is very important. Books can’t teach us everything
and the point where books fail, the only person who can help us is our teacher. This shows the
importance of teachers is in our life.
Conclusion, teacher is a profession but not a profession only but a passion, ambition, and
responsibility. When it comes in teaching, anyone, everyone can be a teacher! As long as you have
the approaches in teaching. The strategies, methods, and techniques. And of course, a teacher
should teach with the 3H’s. The head, to inform knowledge, the hand, in any activities, and of
course the heart. Because I believe that when a teacher teaches with a heart, not just the knowledge
that you can give to your students but also your own attitudes and passion towards teaching them.
Teaching from the heart gives great impact. The teacher should have the education because you
cannot give what you don’t have! The teacher should know how to communication with the
students. The teacher should have the encouragement among him/herself and also to her/his
students. And of course the teacher should have the readiness to teach the learners. Because life is
all about learning till the last breath and the person who has knowledge can be a good teacher. It
needs lots of courage and knowledge to teach and be in this profession. When a teacher is in a
class, she has to handle more than thirty students at once and all from different background and
interest. Just imagine when you alone could irritate your mother so much, then what about other
thirty students like you; what would be the level of pressure on a teacher. Hats off to all the teachers
and the students who chose teaching as a carrier like me to shape up the future of the young ones.
At least we have chosen something daring and it will be not be wrong to say that a teacher builds
the future of a nation.
 Reflection/Insights about "Teaching as a Profession"

A teacher has professional knowle dge and skills gained through formal preparation and
experience. The teaching profession is an occupational field in education that is directly
responsible for the formation of young minds and hearts. The first thing that we must know about
teaching as a profession is that teaching is about inspiring and motivating students to realize and
exceed their potential. The greatest teachers of all time have devoted their lives to inspiring and
empowering their students to achieve great things and be good human beings. Teaching is a noble
profession that comes with so much responsibility and duty towards students. Teachers do not only
teach and impart knowledge but inspire and motivate students for life and take important steps in
life. They keep working to boost the confidence of students and direct them in the right direction.
There were many teachers who dedicated all their life to empowering their students and making
them better and more successful human beings in their life. I know that teaching is not an easy job
at all or an easy profession. Yes, teaching is considered as a profession but for me, it is not just a
career, a responsibility, the mastery, but it is the passion and ambition of a person that wants to be
a teacher. Teaching is not easy, but I pursue this course. Teaching is not easy but I enrolled in this
course. Teaching is not easy but I learned to love teaching and preaching to younger ones. Teaching
is not easy, but I have the love, the passion and the ambition to teach children that’s why it
empowers me so well.
But with great opportunities come greater challenges. These challenges should not define
our decision; they should prepare us for what the future holds. Since no job is easy, every
profession has its own set of challenges and teaching as a profession may have a few road blockers
too. Therefore, before we venture into a teaching career, we should also keep in mind the important
points in teaching. Teaching is a rewarding and challenging profession that requires a strong
commitment to the well-being and success of students. It also has excellent communication skills,
patience, adaptability, empathy, and a passion for inspiring and empowering their students. The
best way for someone to determine if they really would like to go into a certain field is to observe
and talk to others who are already in the discipline. This is especially important for future, soon-
to-be teachers because although we do not realize it as a student, teaching is a very taxing job that
requires patience and determination. with a diverse classroom of the students who have various
levels of knowledge on the subjects being taught and how they grasp those subjects a teacher must
be able to meet the needs of these pupils. To meet those requirements, the educator must be able
to inspire students and have lesson plans that reflects the learning styles of all students. This
semester has been helpful in providing me with various ideas for my own classroom and teaching
methods.
If we are focused and passionate enough to take up teaching as a profession, then dealing
with such challenges can be a cakewalk for us. Not only does a career in teaching give us the power
to nurture the leaders for tomorrow, but it also instills in us the need to never stop learning. We
must be aware of both the rewards as well as the challenges. Teaching career teaching gives us the
chance to inspire and empower bright young minds and build a better tomorrow. However, it could
be a good idea to assess our personality, interests, and aptitudes to be sure of ourselves. Teaching
provides a way to give back to society and teachers have so much potential in the field, they should
be given every opportunity possible to use it. Become a teacher, and it will change our life.
Teaching is a profession of imparting knowledge and skills to students in a way that will help them
achieve their full potential and such as teaching can be an incredibly rewarding career. Teaching
is one of the few professions that allow us to work with children and then retire from the same
occupation while still young and also it can also a way for people to find meaning in their lives
after struggling in other areas. As a future teacher, I will do my best with my strength to made it
come true all my dreams when it comes to teaching.
