Researcher : Bagaimana kamu menggunakan WhastApp untuk kegiatan
sehari –hari?
(How do you use WhatsApp for daily use?)
Participant : Eee… sebenernya sih jarang pakai WhatsApp, kalau ada yang
penting saja baru dipakai.
(Eee… Actually I rarely use WhatsApp, if there is just something
important.)
Researcher : Sebelumnya, apakah ada guru yang memanfaatkan WhatsApp
untuk kegiatan pembelajaran?
(Before this, is there teacher who has ever used WhatsApp for
learning process?)
Participant : Pernah ada tapi Cuma sebentar.
(Yes, there is but it is only for a while.)
Researcher : Apa pendapatmu tentang penggunaan WhatsApp Whatsapp
Group sebagai alat untuk belajar speaking?
(What do you think of the WhatsApp Whatsapp Group use in
learning speaking)
Participant : Menurut pendapat saya, kalau pake WhatsApp lebih percaya diri
karena tidak ada teman-teman jadi lebih lantang untuk
mengungkapkan bahasa inggrisnya.
(In my opinion, By using WhatsApp is more confident because
there are no friends, so I can be louder to writein English.)
Researcher : Apa perbedaan pada saat belajar writing di kelas dan di
WhatsApp menggunakan Whatsapp Group?
(What are the differences between when you learn writing in the
class and learn writing by using WhatsApp Whatsapp Group?)
Participant : Perbedaannya kalau di kelas malu tetapi kalau di WhatsApp
tidak malu.
(The difference is in the class I got shy but it is not in
WhatsApp.)
Researcher : Setelah menggunakan WhatsApp Whatsapp Group dalam
pembelajaran speaking, apakah ada pengaruhnya terhadap
kemampuan berbicara anda? Berikan alasannya!

Participant : Awalnya saya paling malas untuk belajar bahasa inggris tapi
sekarang ada kemajuan untuk menghapal bahaasa inggris.
(Firstly, I was too lazy to learn English, but now there is a
progress to memorize English.)
Researcher : Menurut pendapat anda mana yang lebih baik? Belajar writing
langsung di kelas atau di WhatsApp atau kombinasi antar
keduanya?
(In your opinion, which one is better learning writing directly in
the class or in WhatsApp or the combination of both of them?)
Participant : Lebih baik kombinasi kedua-duanya. Dari kelas ada di
WhatsApp juga ada agar murid tidak hanya sekali belajar lalu
lupa. Kalau menggunakan WhatsApp itu selalu dipegang setiap
hari jadi bisa dimanfaatkan.
(It is better to combine both of them. From the class and
WhatsApp so that, the students do not only learn once then
forget. WhatsApp is always handled every day so it can be
utilized.)
Researcher : Menurut pendapat anda, apa keuntungan dari penggunaan
WhatsApp Whatsapp Group sebagai media pembelajaran
speaking?

Participant : Waktunya tidak sia-sia, lebih bermanfaat dibandingkan hanya
digunakan untuk main game dan bisa belajar di rumah.
(The time is not useless, it is useful if comparing for playing
game only and we can learn at home.)
Researcher : Apa saja hambatan yang dihadapi ketika menggunakan
WhatsApp Whatsapp Group sebagai media pembelajaran

(What are the challenges you encounter when using WhatsApp
Whatsapp Group as a media in learning speaking?
Participant : Kuota, ketika sedang rajin dan tiba-tiba kuota habis kita sendiri
yang bingung. Ingin tidak ketinggalan belajar di WhatsApp
tetapi tidak ada kuota.
(Quota. When we are in diligent condition and suddenly the
quota is empty it makes us confused. We do not want to be left
behind in learning in WhatsApp but there is no quota.)
Researcher : Apakah penggunaan WhatsApp Whatsapp Group memotivasi
anda untuk belajar bahasa inggris?
(Does the use of WhatsApp Whatsapp Group motivate you to
learn English?)
Participant : Ya, memotivasi sekali.
(Yes, it is very motivated.)

Participant : Lebih membantu jika ada salah kata miss lissa akan
mengoreksinya dan lebih jelas.
(It helps more, if there is some word mistakes miss lissa will
correct it and it is clearer.)

class and learn writing by using WhatsApp Whatsapp Group?)
Participant : Iya ada pengaruhnya, jadi lebih lancar dalam berbahasa inggris.
