Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Iraq - Sulaymaniyah - Arbat District

Report to: Plant Manager

No. of Position: 1

Work Schedule: (6 days per week, 8 hours per day)

Salary Range: 1200 $ - 1500 $

Job Summary:

A Production Supervisor in an HCL & Potassium Sulfate Factory is responsible for the day-to-
day operation of the plant's production processes, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently,
and that the plant produces high-quality HCL and Sulfate Potassium products. Managing a team
of operators, ensuring safety and quality standards, and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure
efficient use of resources
• Overseeing the operation and maintenance of all production equipment and facilities
• Ensuring that all safety and environmental regulations are met
• Monitoring production processes and equipment performance to identify and resolve
issues promptly
• Troubleshooting and resolving production problems
• Maintaining quality control standards
• Preparing and submitting production reports to upper management
• Conducting training for production workers
• Developing and implementing new production processes and procedures
• Managing the plant's inventory of raw materials and finished products
• Working with the Plant Manager to develop and implement production goals and
objectives
• Assign tasks to production workers and monitor their progress
• Oversee the operation of production equipment and ensure that it is running properly
• Conduct safety inspections of the production area
• Troubleshoot and resolve production problems
• Monitor production output and quality
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and other key metrics for
management review.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred).


• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with experience in
HCL & Potassium Sulfate Factory production being a must.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in a chemical manufacturing
setting.
• Knowledge of the English Language, any other language is a plus.
• Effective Communication Skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Extensive knowledge of chemical reactions.
• Knowledge of DCS systems.
