2. Explain the benefits derived from planting trees and fruit-bearing trees to families and

3. Identify some common trees planted in both rural and urban areas.

here a box, I’ve placed strips of papers with

What are you going to do, each group
members will take turns running to the box
and take one strip of words from the box
and return to the group. This will continue
until the group has all the strips of words for
the paragraph. The group will then gathers
in a circle and put the paragraph together on
the floor. The first group to get the
paragraph in the correct order will win and
will read the paragraph aloud. The group
members of the winner will receive a star.

Some of these are: they protect the soil
from erosion, they help maintain high
quality water supplies, their root system
promotes soil stability, they serve as
valuable wildlife habitat, they are
attractive and effective windbreakers, they
prevent floods and they prevent lake and
river sedimentation, etc.
