    CBSE INDIVIDUAL PROJECT WORK

    SOCIAL SCIENCE (2021-22)


    (For summer holiday)
    MM: 5

    TOPICS: Every student must compulsorily undertake a project work on the


    following topics: (Choose any one Topic)

    1. Consumer Awareness
    OR
    2. Social Issues
    OR
    3. Sustainable Development

    Project will be assessed on the following parameters.


     Content accuracy,
     originality and analysis
     Presentation and creativity

    GUIDELINES FOR PROJECT WORK

    Presentation and Submission of Project Report

    At the end of the summer break, each student will prepare and submit his/her
    project report i,e 07th of September.

    Following essentials are required to be fulfilled for its preparation and


    submission.

    1. The total length of the project will be of 10 to 15 pages.


    2. The project should be handwritten.
    3. The project should be presented in a neat folder.
    4. The project can have pictorial presentation or statistical data on facts.
    5. Bibliography is important

    General format of the project report.

     Cover page should include.


    1. The title of the Project
    2. Student’s information. (name, class, section,)
    3. School’s name and year

     List of contents.
     Acknowledgements and preface (acknowledging the places visited and
    the persons who have helped). If applicable.

     Part I- Introduction: of the topic chosen.


     Part II- Case study: If required, (students may go out for collecting
    data but present situation will not permit this) so, the students may
    collect data from online sources or survey reports on the chosen topic and
    use different primary and secondary resources to prepare the project
    report.
     Part III- A Summary Report: based on the case study, Observations,
    and findings, should be prepared, highlighting objectives realized through
    individual work and group interactions. (Calendar of activities).
     Part IV- Conclusions: innovative ideas generated in the process
    (summarized suggestions or findings).
     Photographs / Data (if any).
     Teacher’s observation / comments.
