File Server
• It is an advance form of shared folder
• In file server we can share and un share a folder
• In file server we can also configure hidden share
• File server can control session of each user

File Server Resource Manager (FSRM)
File server resource manager can be used to define quota and file screening policy
for a shared folder.
Quota: is used to specify a specific space of a drive or folder for a user.
File screening policy: control the types of file that users can save, and generate
notifications when users attempt to save unauthorized files.

Distributed File System (DFS)
DFS is a logical file system, which store the network shares in one logical location.
After configuring DFS on a network users do not require to access shared data
individually form File Server 1, & File Server 2.
The shared data can be access from only one place.
