At the end of this learning activity, the FS students should be able to:
1. describe the different parts of a lesson plan using a specified model;
2. construct a lesson plan aligned to his/her specialization using the existing basic education curriculum;
3. revise a lesson based on the comments/suggestions given by the mentor/instructor;
4. cite challenges encountered in writing lesson plans; and
5. reflect on the feedback received for the improvement of teaching practice.

A lesson plan is the teacher’s compendium of what students need to learn and how it will be done effectively during
the class time. It also involves designing and incorporating appropriate learning activities and strategies to obtain
substantive feedback on student learning. A well-constructed lesson plan prepared by a teacher for a particular lesson
allows him/her to enter the classroom with more confidence and a greater possibility of having engaging activities that will
result in a meaningful learning experience with students.
In this segment of learning experience, you will be exposed to various activities that allows you to examine different
lesson plan exemplars and its parts, and an opportunity to construct your own lesson plan.

There are two activities that you are going to do in this segment of learning. First, you have to stay focus, observe and
examine materials as you work your way in writing your own lesson plan.
Activity 4-1. DRAW ME OUT! (Part 1)
The FS mentor will provide at least three sample lesson plans using different models. The FS students will identify the
model and parts the given lesson plan.

Questions:

(1) What do you observe about the format of the lesson plans presented to you?
The lesson plans presented to us was very well organized, detailed, specific and we'll developed. It indicates there
all the plan to do to meet the goals and objectives. There are still similarities and differences in the formats of the lesson
plans presented, but still they are all created well.

(2) Describe the parts of each lesson plan model.


The first lesson plan used by the teacher is a 7E model lesson plan. Learning Cycle 7E model is a learner-centered
model. This model consist of stagers of activities organized in such a way that students can master the competencies that
must me achieved in learning by playing an active role. These stages are elicited, engage, explore, explain, elaborate,
evaluate and extend.

Making a lesson plan, which will act as a roadmap to guarantee the teaching and learning process runs smoothly, is one of
the crucial tasks a teacher must take into account before starting a class. Each component of a lesson plan plays an
important part in instructing students. A lesson plan's learning objectives are essential because they provide the framework
for planning the teaching, creating the content, and carrying out the learning activities. There are three categories within it:
cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor. The primary goals of the cognitive domain are the acquisition of knowledge and the
growth of intellectual capacity. Affective factors such as attitudes, feelings, and emotions are included. Additionally, the
psychomotor domain typically emphasizes the physical aspect, which involves coordination abilities and physical movement.
Setting attainable learning objectives requires careful consideration in order to ensure the effectiveness of the teaching and
learning process.
II. Nilalaman.
The topic or lesson that a teacher is going to teach on a certain day is included in this section of the lesson plan. The
discussion will center on the subject, which is what the students are expected to learn from the instructor.
III. , Kagamitang Panturo..
The teacher will include any references and learning resources he will use in this section so that the lesson may be taught
effectively. The textbook's title and any supplemental information from the LRMDC site are included in the references.
Despite the ICT and non-ICT resources are both included in learning resources. The internet, PowerPoint presentations,
textbooks, and other resources that will assist the teacher in facilitating learning are a few examples.
IV. Pamamaraan
When preparing a lesson plan, the process section is crucial because it outlines the actions that both the teacher and the
students will take to accomplish the lesson's goals. The process outlines the learning experiences that students will have as
they comprehend and master the lesson's material. To achieve a successful teaching and learning process, clearly defined
processes must be in place before the class ever begins.
V. Mga Tala
The next to last section of a lesson plan, are very important. using the word As the section's title suggests, this section
presents the findings from assessments in which students took quizzes and tests to gauge their understanding of the subject.
This represents the pupils' development both during and after the actual lesson.
. VI. Pagninilay
The final section of the lesson plan, known as "pagninilay" or the reflection section, is one that the teacher should complete
following the delivery of the lesson. Teachers are urged to consider the portions of their lessons that went well and the parts
that went poorly in this section and to write succinctly about it. Additionally, teachers can express their feelings about their
lessons in this section, including any elements that worked well, need improvement, or could be changed. Finally, in this
section, teachers can discuss the students who did well in the class and those who need assistance.

From a model, which part do you think is easy and difficult to construct?

In the 7E lesson plan model, for me the most difficult part to contruct is the Engage and Explore. We need to ensure that
the learners will listen and learn some knowledge from the lesson, but as our subject or the major I am taking is they
called the most boring subject. We need a very long period of time to create an acrtivity that will students will enjoy
doing, understand and remember how it goes. While the the elicit, explain and elaborate are easy to contruct.

What teaching method is used in each plan? Why did you say so?

As I always read and familiarize with each if the plan, direct method of teaching is best suits . Effective instruction starts
with direct instruction. It makes the learning process easier. Teachers can design assignments, tasks, and lessons such
that students can collaborate to accomplish a common objective. Additionally, it enables teachers to provide precise
instructions, examples, justifications, and descriptions as necessary.

Describe the congruence of the lesson plan from the intended learning outcomes to the supporting activities and
assessments?

Congruence instruction refers to the design of learning activities to support the objectives and the creation
of evaluation procedures to gauge significant learning outcomes reflected in the objectives. A curriculum
mapping activity would give instructors a quick overview of their position in relation to the expected
learning outcomes that students will be able to show.

What challenges did you encounter in writing your lesson plan? How will you address these challenges?

To be real, I really do not know how to make a lesson plan. As a pandemic baby, we missed so many
activities, lessons, and others in attending face to face class. For example is to learn how to make a Daily
lesson log, Semi detailed lesson plan, and ofcourse the detailed lesson plan. We're just attending online
class but can't really take into our mind the knowledge we must have. It has big difference from what we
had during face to face classes. Where there is a collaboration, good communication, interaction and a
unity of one class in a room. Step by step, asking guidance on our instructors or mentors to please guide
and help us doing the correct and we'll developed lesson plans.
