Expectations from Students selected for an ICON Project and

Associated Rules

1. Students can be member of only one ICON project in an academic year.

2. We sincerely believe that the selected candidates will put in their best efforts
for the successful completion of the project within the timeline specified and to
the client's satisfaction

3. Selected candidates would be required to put-in on an average 10-12 hours of


work every week through the life of the project

4. The terms of billing, fees etc will be finalized between ICON and the client.
Selected students are neither expected to talk to the client about remuneration
nor collect any kind of payment from them

5. At the end of every project, feedback will be taken from the client about the
quality of work done. Negative feedback may attract penal action such as
nongranting of resume bullet-point, blacklisting of the candidate from future ICON
projects and other disciplinary measures

6. At the end of every project, peer-review will be done among all the participants,
the results of which may invite similar penal action as in 4 above

7. Students are expected to provide weekly updates to the ICON Coordinator in


charge of the project on the work done and client feedback

8. It is expected that the ICON Coordinator will be kept in the loop for all
correspondence with the client

9. Students cannot go on a vacation/trip in the first two weeks of the project as


meetings with clients etc would be arranged at that time. In case of any
emergencies, the ICON Coordinators should be informed well in advance

10. All payments by ICON to the team members are subject to receipt of the
same from the client
