This research paper explores the multifaceted achievements of Emperor Jahangir, focusing on his
contributions to the military, administrative system, justice, public health, education, and the
development of trade with the British East India Company. Jahangir's reign marked a pivotal
period in the history of the Mughal Empire and India's interactions with the emerging European
powers.
Introduction: Emperor Jahangir, born as Nur-ud-din Muhammad Salim, ascended to the Mughal
throne in 1605 after a brief struggle for power. His rule witnessed significant advancements and
