Dear colleagues,
In addition to the previous message dated March 10, 2022 , I have the pleasure to send
you information about new opportunities for grants offered by Cure Within Reach that
works in the fields of scientific research in the domain of repurposing of drugs and
medical devices for LMICs ( Written in red in the attached message). Hence, this could
lead to new indications and increase opportunities to access medical care.
I wrote a full chapter about drugs and devices repurposing in our new
book “Approaching Global Oncology: The win-win model”, edited by Ahmed
Elzawawy and Wilfred Ngwa. There are more than 100 hundred contributors and the
book is honored with a special contribution of H.E. the late Dr. Tabaré Vázquez,
immediate past president of the republic of Uruguay, A keynote by HRH Princess Dina
Mired and a foreword by Sir Muir Gray.
Dr. Clare Thibodeaux wrote a chapter in this book about opportunities of research for
LMICs in fields of drugs and medical devices.
Please forward the message of Dr. Clare Thibodeaux, Vice President, Scientific Affairs,
