Description and Intended Use

I-View Silver is a digital imaging solution for intraoral dental radiography based on CMOS
(Complementary Metal-oxide Semiconductor) technology. The sensor is a receptor which
captures the images obtained when using an X-Ray generator for diagnostic purposes.

State-of-the-art technology reduces the patients' exposure and provides excellent image
quality with no missing data due to the single-chip CMOS. Images are obtained from the
exposure of the tissues of the mouth to a radiation source or X-ray generator. By interposing
the tissue between the radiation source and the receptor, the densest parts appear with
different tones within greyscale: structures that are dense, such as bones or metal, will block
most x-ray particles and appear white, air-containing structures will look black, and muscles,
fat and fluids will appear as shadows of grey color.

The sensor transmits the acquired image to the computer, instantly displaying it on the
screen without additional processes. Subsequently, the specific software facilitates the
identification of the images and allows to improve their analysis.

Product Presentation
I-View Silver is available in two sizes:
Size 1: surface of 25 x 36.88 x 4.4 mm and active area 20 x 30 mm
Size 2: surface of 30.4 x 41.9 x 4.4 mm and active area 26 x 36 mm
The sensor comes in a solid, black cardboard box, with the Trident logo, accompanied
by the USB key with the Deep-View v4.0 software and a dongle with the user license.
