Good evening everyone, today we will talk about the routes, touristic places and
typical food of the city of Trujillo.

What can you do in trujillo?


The city of Trujillo, firstly is known as "The city of eternal spring" located in the
northern part of the country. Secondly, there are a lot of touristic places like the Plaza
de Armas, the archaeological site of Chan Chan, diverse typical dishes and many
more things, welcome to Trujillo, the city of eternal spring.

What can you see and eat in TRUJILLO?


Eating in “The capital of the marinera” is an unforgettable experience that will lead you to enjoy authentic
and unique flavors. Noted for the use of fresh and varied ingredients that there are , such as fish and
seafood from the coast, agricultural products from nearby valleys and meats from the region there is a
mixture of flavors and textures that will delight your palate. So "The city of eternal spring" in the first you
can see that there are a lot of tourist sites, festivals and above all the food has an exquisite taste. Secondly,
the typical dishes that stand out are "El cabrito trujillano" and "El Shambar".

Finally there are many typical dishes like "El ceviche de Caballa", "Cabrito al palo", there are also
desserts like "El quesillo", "Majarete" and drinks like "La chicha de Jora", "Chica de Moche" and many
others.

Where can you buy in TRUJILLO?


In Trujillo there are many places where you can shop. The MallPlaza shopping center is a touristic place
where there are many stores like Ripley, oeshle and Tottus, which is open from 10 am to 10 pm. But Tottus
stands out from the rest, it is a clothing, souvenir and appliance store and in this store things are usually not
very expensive. There is also the shopping center "Open plaza" which has few stores like "Tottus", shoe and
clothing stores like "Adidas" "Bata" and "Topitop" and for games there is the "Coney Park" and finally there is
the "Centro comercial el Virrey" but it is little visited and has few stores.
Student A: Hello! Trujillo is great. You can visit Chan Chan, learn to dance marinera or surf. Do you like

surfing? 🏄‍♀

Student B: Yes! And the food is delicious. Try the ceviche, the causa and the pisco sour. Do you like
Peruvian food? 🍽
Student A: Sure! And to shop, visit the craft stores and the Central Market. Do you like buying souvenirs?

Student B: Yes! And Trujillo's cotton clothing is great. Try El Paseo de las Letras. Have you bought

clothes there? 👗

Student A: No, but I will. Trujillo is incredible. Don't you think so, Yorgmanuel?
