Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the Software Test Engineer position with your company. I Have
5 years of experience in software testing, I am confident in my ability to contribute to your team and
help ensure the quality and reliability of your web products.

Throughout my career, I have gained hands-on experience in automation and manual testing of
modern web applications. I have worked extensively in the Banking and Finance domain, as well as
with Identity Management products. My technical skills include proficiency in testing methodologies
such as Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Automation Testing. I am also proficient in
programming languages like Core Java and Basic JavaScript.

In my previous role at OpenText, I was responsible for testing modern web applications using the
Cypress Test Automation Tool. I successfully built end-to-end regression suites for web applications,
comprising of 19 modules and 1000 test scripts. I also have experience in API testing using Postman
and Cypress tool. Additionally, I have worked on AWS EC2 instances and have strong knowledge of
the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle.

During my time at OpenText, I successfully implemented a pilot project using the Cypress automation
tool and extended the framework for building a regression suite. I implemented the page object
model as a test framework, with version control using GitHub, configuration management using
Jenkins, and reporting using mocha awesome. I am now extending the current framework to use
Cypress Dashboard.

In my previous roles at Amdocs and Cognizant Technology Solutions, I gained experience in

automation testing and manual testing, working on projects such as AT&T Communications and
Lloyds Banking Group. I have also demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, a quick learner
mentality, and problem-solving abilities.

I am excited about the opportunity to join your team and contribute to the testing of web products. I
am a tech-agnostic professional, comfortable working with a variety of technologies. My background
as a Test Automation Engineer has provided me with a deep understanding of the Testing mentality
and process, allowing me to create effective test scripts.
