Activity

1. Hand out each child’s Activity: Login cards and ask them to log in to the computer.
2. Recap how to use and move the mouse with the children.
3. Talk again about how to position your hand properly and which finger to use to left-click.

stamp tool. Encourage children to move their mouse around the screen and click in different places to create their pictures.

7. Model how to close down the software (click on the cross in the top right corner).
8. Teacher to logout.

Teacher notes

If you feel that logging in is taking the majority of the session, log in for each child before the session starts so that you
can focus on the objectives for this lesson.
If this is the case, you may want to consider dedicating more time to simply practising logging in and using the keyboard.
Don’t forget to save and/or print work if you would like some evidence.
