Final Examination in Nursing Informatics

Part 1:
Step 1: Open Excel and Enter Data
1. Open Microsoft Excel.
2. In a new worksheet, enter the following sample data into cells A1 to B7:

Step 2: Select Data and Insert a Chart


1. Select the data range you want to include in the chart (in this case, cells A1 to B6).
2. Go to the "Insert" tab on the Excel ribbon.
3. Click on the "Column Chart" button in the "Charts" group.
4. Choose the first 2D column chart type (Clustered Column).

Step 3: Customize the Chart

1. Click on the chart to select it. You will see three icons in the top right corner of the
chart. Click on the pencil/edit icon to access the "Chart Elements," "Chart Styles," and
"Chart Filters" options.
2. Add a chart title: In the "Chart Elements" panel, check the "Chart Title" box and enter
a title like "Population by Country."
3. Add axis titles: Check the "Axis Titles" box and choose "Primary Horizontal" and
"Primary Vertical" axis titles. For the horizontal axis, use "Countries," and for the vertical
axis, use "Population (Millions)."

Step 4: Save
1. Use your LASTNAME as filename for the entire workbook.
2. Set Clustered Column for the Sheet 1.
