Art is a broad and subjective term wherein it encompasses a wide range of human activities and
creations that express ideas, emotions, or experiences in a visual, auditory, or performative form.
It can include painting, sculpture, literature, music, dance, theater, film, architecture, and more.
Some of the types of arts have fusions and overlapping elements. The first one is Graffiti,
according to curry et.al, graffiti is usually illegal wherein it involves unauthorized marking of
public space. The common image of graffiti is stylistic symbol or phrase spray painted on a wall
by a member of a street gang, but there are some graffiti that is not gang related. In terms of
fusion of graffiti in performance art wherein when the artists create their works in real-time, in
front of an audience. The process of live creation turns the act of graffiti into a performance,
blurring the lines between creation and presentation. Some of the graffiti artists incorporate
elements of theater or choreography into their process, turning the act of painting into a
spectacle. Moreover, the overlapping elements of graffiti with Poetry-Performance and Digital
Art, wherein Graffiti shares elements with poetry-performance in terms of its expressive nature
and its often political or social messages. Both forms can convey powerful messages in public
spaces and may incorporate storytelling elements. Graffiti can overlap with digital art when

The next is Poetry-performance also known as spoken word or poetry slam, is the live oral
presentation of poetry with an emphasis on rhythm, intonation, and theatricality. Involves the
oral delivery of poetry, typically without the use of props or costumes, focusing instead on the
power of language, voice, and body movement to convey meaning and evoke emotions. Poets
may perform their own original works or recite the works of others. There’s also fusion with
visual arts and performance art. Poetry-performance can fuse with visual arts when poets
incorporate visual elements into their performances, such as props, costumes, or multimedia
presentations. This fusion enhances the audience's engagement and adds layers of meaning to the
performance. Similarly, poetry-performance can intersect with performance art when poets
engage in actions or behaviors beyond reciting poetry, turning the act of performance into a form
of artistic expression in itself. More over the overlapping elements with graffiti and digital art,
Poetry-performance shares elements with graffiti in terms of its use of public spaces and its

and resistance. In the realm of digital art, poetry-performance can overlap when poets utilize
technology to enhance their performances. This may include incorporating digital projections,
interactive elements, or soundscapes into their presentations. One of the examples of Poetry-
Performance Artists Utilizing Visual and Digital Components. Staceyann Chin is a spoken word
poet whose performances frequently include elements of storytelling, humor, and social
commentary, sometimes accompanied by visual imagery or props. In "If Only Out of Vanity,"
Staceyann Chin blends storytelling, humor, and social commentary to tackle themes like identity,
race, and sexuality. Her dynamic delivery and use of vivid imagery captivate audiences, leaving a
lasting impact. She might also incorporate visual elements or props to enhance the experience.
Next is Performance art is a form of artistic expression where the artist uses their body, actions,
and presence as the medium. It often involves live actions, gestures, or rituals performed in front
of an audience. Characteristics of performance art include its ephemeral nature, the emphasis on
the artist's presence and physicality, and its ability to challenge traditional notions of art and
audience engagement. Performance art has also fusion with various art forms, performance art
frequently fuses with other art forms, such as visual arts, theater, dance, music, and multimedia.
This fusion allows artists to create interdisciplinary works that blur the boundaries between
different artistic disciplines and create unique sensory experiences for the audience. For example,
performance artists may incorporate elements of visual art through the use of props, costumes, or
set design, while also integrating music, soundscapes, or digital projections to enhance the

The last one is Digital Art, Digital art refers to artworks created or manipulated using digital
technology. This can include digital painting, 3D modeling, animation, interactive installations,
and more. Fusion of digital art with traditional and contemporary Art forms, Digital art
frequently fuses with traditional art forms such as painting, drawing, and sculpture, as well as
contemporary art forms such as performance art, video art, and installation art. For example,
digital artists may use software to create digital paintings that mimic traditional painting
techniques, or they may incorporate digital elements into physical sculptures or installations.
