In rear-facing mode (suitable for babies), the TOPSAFE can be used up to an age of about 18 months. Older children can be carried simply by turning the seat through 180. In forward-facing mode, the TOPSAFE can be adjusted to provide a sitting or a reclining position. The TOPSAFE can be secured using the ISOFIX system or by means of a 3-point seat belt.
