airnavX Standalone Delivery Note – November 2018

INTRODUCTION

airnavX Standalone allows the offline consultation of Airbus Technical Data on Windows 7 or higher PCs,
via a launcher that does not require any installation, nor additional plugins.

VERSIONING INFORMATION
The version of the software is in line with both the Online and Intranet applications. This means that it
includes the Airline attachment feature.

airnavX Standalone packages will follow the same revision cycle as your Airbus Technical Data, but the
software will not be released with the same cycle. When new versions of airnavX Standalone are released
they will be available at the next revision of your package.

LAUNCHING AIRNAVX STANDALONE

In order to be used, airnavX Standalone must be unzipped on your computer.

Once unzipped, double click on “airnavx.exe” file (see below)

Once launched, wait for 100% launching completion.

CAUTION:
You might be notified to allow the execution of airnavx.exe on your laptop, due to authorization
reasons linked to executable applications.

At the end, airnavX Standalone will be automatically launched from the web browser set as default on your
laptop.
You can now use airnavX without any internet connection.

AIRNAVX STANDALONE FEATURES

AIRLINE ATTACHMENTS
With airnavX Standalone it is now possible to perform Airline attachments whether on-the-fly or via a zip
import.

In order to perform on-the-fly attachments the airnavX Standalone Admin page must be opened:

Import of TR and Airline attachment zip (in airnavX format)

A TR or Airline attachment package in the airnavX format can be imported by clicking on the below button
on the launcher:

AirN@v V3 attachment legacy tool

The AirN@v V3 legacy tool is available on demand via TechRequest (Software & Services / Product; air-
navX).
The purpose of this application is to convert the existing AirN@v V3 attachments into airnavX format. This
process is a one shot and will require admin access to the existing AirN@v V3 installation. The V3 legacy
tool user guide is included with the tool and contains all the necessary information to perform the process.
