Performance The learner transfers learning by: showing ways of asserting one’s
standard identity; comprehending informative and short narrative texts using
schema and appropriate listening and viewing strategies; expressing
ideas, opinions, and feelings through various formats; and enriching
written and spoken communication using direct/reported speech,
active/passive voice, simple past and past perfect tenses and connectors
correctly and appropriately.
Instruction: The students will create a short story with the theme of “Our Unique Stories”.
With this theme, the characters will go on a journey where each person's life is like a special
story. Students, as storytellers, will share narratives that show who they are, creating a beautiful
collection of stories that best represent themselves.
Role of students: Each student will create a short story. They will be storytellers who will wield
creativity. They will shape characters and plots as they navigate the narrative of the story. They
will engage their audience as well.
Role of teacher: The teacher will be the facilitator and evaluator of the activity. They will also
provide feedback.
SCORING RUBRICS - used when judging the quality of the work of the learners on the
assessment. It is guided to evaluate the students' performance and products that result in the task.
Type of rubric: Analytic Rubrics- It dissect writing into elements like organization, content, and
language, offering detailed feedback. This allows teachers and students to identify strengths and areas for
improvement more precisely compared to holistic rubrics, making it a valuable tool for assessing writing
activities.
