What did
Mysuru-Kodagu
Get?
Report Card
Mysuru has 12 Engineering Colleges and 83
Degree colleges, yet there were no new employment
opportunities. The talent pool from Mysuru used to
look for jobs in Bangalore and other cities and this
was the notion of the common man when I was
elected as a Member of Parliament in 2014. While
contemplating this issue I realised connectivity
was a major concern for companies not setting up
base in Mysuru. Hence, in the past 10 years, I have
tried my best to improve connectivity to Mysuru
through Railways, Highways and Airways. Along
with this, I have also worked to bring drinking
water and other projects to the Mysuru - Kodagu
Constituency. Here is a small report regarding the
projects implemented during my tenure.
Thank you,
Prathap Simha
