OBJECTIVE
The objective of this cultural briefing activity is to equip students with the skills to
effectively research, analyze, and present accurate and relevant information about
the culture of an assigned country. Through collaborative group efforts, students will
delve into the unique aspects of the chosen culture, drawing upon resources such
as Martin Gannon's cultural metaphoric approach, the GLOBE Study, and Erin
Meyer's Culture Map. The aim is not only to comprehend and communicate the
cultural nuances but also to stimulate insightful discussions among classmates. By
synthesizing information, understanding workplace behaviors, and addressing
intercultural challenges, students will demonstrate their competency in adapting to
diverse contexts, creative thinking, context reading, and managing
internationalization processes. The activity encourages engagement and active
learning, contributing to a holistic understanding of cross-cultural management..
