Algebra 1 Bmtd203 Assignment 1

This document is an assignment for an Algebra 1 course. It contains 6 questions with multiple parts assessing key concepts in algebra including defining terms like injective mappings, equivalence relations, and subgroups. It also contains questions evaluating properties of sets and relations, solving congruences, identifying whether a set forms a group, finding cosets of subgroups, and proving properties of equivalence relations. Students are asked to show working for full marks on a 100 point assignment due in 20 hours.
