INTRODUCTION
Water conservation
Water conservation is the careful use and preservation of water supply and
includes both the quantity and quality of water utilized. Water is an essential
asset for the nourishment of all life and is the fundamental demand for all
activities appropriate from domestic use to agricultural and industry. With the
regularly expanding weight of the human population, there has been a serious
tension on water resources. Disregard of customary water bodies like tanks and
lakes, unpredictable and abuse of groundwater, incorrect preservation of surface
water systems has bothered the issue still further and is probably going to grow
in the years to come.
Water conservation has turned into an essential practice in every part of
the world, even in regions where water appears to be sufficient. It is the most
practical and environment- friendly approach to lessen our need for water.
Utilizing less water equally puts less weight on our sewage treatment facilities,
and uses an ample amount of energy for heating water.
A fundamental component to water conservation strategy is
communication and education outreach of different water programs. Developing
communication that educates science to land managers, policy makers, farmers,
and the general public is another important strategy utilized in water
conservation. Communication of the science of how water systems work is an
important aspect when creating a management plan to conserve that system and
is often used for ensuring the right management plan to be put into action.
