Silicone Encapsulant - EncapSil 1400
Product Description
EncapSil 1400 is a silicone encapsulant which can be cured at RT or elevated temperature to form
elastic potting or film materials. Due to the unique attributes of silicone, EncapSil 1400 can provide
excellent insulation and protection for various electronic parts/devices to obtain longer life expectancy.
Product Benefits
- Good flow-ability to ensure full potting for narrow gaps;
- Ultra low volume shrinkage during curing for minimal stress;
- Controllable cure time by heating;
- Excellent insulation and heat-resistance: -40~150℃ for long term usage;
Certification
- Certification of UL94 V0 and RTI-150℃ (refer to UL file - E502051);
- Compliance with Rohs/REACH;

Additional Points for De-air Step
- During the de-air operation, the materials could overflow since the air bubble gets expanded. So it
should be carefully monitored, and when overflow happens, open the release valve a bit to let some
air into the chamber to let the air bubble shrink, and then close the valve. Repeat the action until
de-gassing is done.
- Generally, if few bubbles are seen, the de-air step is completed. Please be noted that the de-air time
should be as short as possible because the crosslinking reaction was already kicked off once mixed.
Package
- PartA/B: 25KG/Pail; 200KG/Drum
Storage and Shelf Life
- 12 months of shelf life when properly stored in the unopened original container under the
temperature below 40℃。
Safety
- Both Part A and B can be transported and used as Non-dangerous goods. For more safety
information, please refer to the MSDS.
