Subject/ Level: Practical Research 1 Grade 11 Quarter: 3rd Quarter Week: 2
Unit: 3 Date: February 27, 2024
Transfer Goal/s: The main purpose of data analysis is to draw conclusions on specific
data. Researchers use these results to draw conclusions on their study. Data analysis is
used to make purposeful discoveries, suggest conclusions, support decision-making, and
support previous studies.

Essential Understanding: To assess students' understanding of analyzing data in

research papers.

Essential Questions: What claims can you make after analyzing your data?
I. Preliminaries
Energizer – Describing a Scene
Review -
Focus – Analyzing Data
Unlocking of Difficulties
Data Analysis - Data analysis is the process of inspecting, cleansing, transforming,
and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing
conclusions, and supporting decision-making.

Motivation - Describing a Scene

Analyzing images can be an interesting alternative to relying on interview text and they
can provide some of the information generated by more complicated field-based methods
like observation.

 What is happening in this picture?

 What do you think they are?
 What can you say about their attitude towards their work?
 Where can you usually see this scene?

APK
Where you able to analyze the picture correctly?
II. Lesson Development
A. Presentation of Concepts
Students will be able to analyze and interpret data in research papers.
Students will be able to activate prior knowledge and generate interest in analyzing
data in research papers.
Students will be able to draw conclusions based on data analysis.
B. Broadening of Concepts (Meaning)

1. Why is it important to accurately interpret and present data analysis results?

2. How can analyzing data in a research paper contribute to knowledge and

understanding in a specific field?
