Divisibility Rule of 7/7

• Divisibility of 7:- It is divided into two parts on the basis of number.

(i) If number is smallest :- The last digit of the number is multiplied by 2 and subtracted from the
remaining part of the number and so on. If the resulting number is divisible by 7, then the original
number will also be divisible by 7?

(ii) If number is greater :- Pairs of 3-3 digits are made from the right side of the number, then the
difference of the sum of the pairs at even position and the sum of pairs at odd position is taken.
Then rule (i) is applies.
