ANCHOR 1 On September 12, 2023, the Ministerial Association led an Induction ceremony with
the theme “Involve to evolve” held at Aguinaldo Balinao Hall. The program was actively
supported by students from singing groups, small groups, church pastors, and deacons.
Through a processional of all the inductee’s and participants hosted by Mr. Jan Paolo Santos
and Ms. Ervie Failma, the program formally started. A usual program flow was followed with
the singing as the first, followed by a prayer and Special musical offering. The program’s man of
honor is Ptr. Victor Mariano. He shared a motivating and inspiring message about leadership
and service
After the message, a heartfelt speech was delivered by outgoing M.A president Rene
Patanpatan, as he transfers the key of responsibility to the incoming M.A President, Joey
Arambulo who humbly accepted the challenge and responsibility of leading religious activities
of the school.
After that, the awaited candle lighting followed where the excitement and consecration of all
inductees was truly felt together with their oath taking where all inductees pledge their full
responsibility to the organization.
To consecrate more the program, the inductees were offered a dedicatory prayer for their
effectivity in their assigned position by pstr. Damian Del Valle. Nearing the end of the program,
a lively singong was led again by the song leaders followed by the closing prayer of Vince Cyrus
Ignacio, a fourth year Theology student and a recessional which signifies the formal end of the
program.
Indeed, the induction ended successfully. Spirit fills inductee’s and congregation left the AB hall
that night with a bright smile on their face and a clear direction and instruction in leadership

NEWS PRESENTER 2: The pavillion of NLAC came alive with excitement and vibrant energy as
students gathered for the highly anticipated Villager’s Acquaintance Party. The event was held
on the 5th of September 2023 at the school’s pavillion, provided an opportunity for new and
returning students to come together, forge new friendships, and celebrate the start of another
academic year.
Dressed in their stylish and simple attire, students arrived at the venue with anticipation and
excitement. The grand pavillion was transformed into a lively atmosphere because of the
presence of the villagers students. The theme for this Villager's Acquaintance Party, "League of
Villagers," added a touch of enchantment to the event.

The evening kicked off with a warm welcome from the villagers student council, who
emphasized the importance of building connections and fostering a sense of belonging within
the campus community. The event started with actively singing and devotion. Followed
featured a variety of activities and entertainment designed to encourage interaction and create
lasting memories.
To break the ice and encourage interaction, villagers participated in engaging games and
competitions. From volley of big ball to water game, laughter and friendly competition filled the
air, creating a lively atmosphere that brought students closer together.
The highlight of the evening was the yell presentation, where villagers students who came from
same houses showcased their skills in singing and dancing performances. The stage came alive
with an array of talents, leaving the audience in awe and applause. The performances not only
showcased the creativity and talent of the students but also served as a platform for self-
expression and self-confidence.
In between performances, students enjoyed a delectable burger and refreshments juice,
providing an opportunity for further mingling and socializing. The pavillion remained packed
throughout the night as students grooved to the beats of popular songs, letting loose and
embracing the joy of the moment.
As the night drew to a close, villagers gathered and prayed, expressing their gratitude for the
sense of togetherness that the Acquaintance Party had fostered. The Acquaintance Party had
successfully accomplished its goal of fostering a sense of unity, camaraderie, and belonging
among the student body.
The Villager’s Acquaintance Party at NLAC proved to be an unforgettable night, filled with
laughter, camaraderie, and the forging of new friendships. As students left the event with
smiles on their faces and memories to cherish, the spirit of unity and inclusivity reverberated
throughout the campus. The Acquaintance Party served as a reminder of the strength and
resilience of the community, highlighting the importance of coming together to create a vibrant
and connected village.
ANCHOR 2: NLAC CELEBRATES GRAND INTRAMURALS 2023 ---- THE REST OF THE NEWS WILLL

NEWS PRESENTER 3: Spearheaded by the Student Council, the annual and much-awaited
Intramurals 2023 themed “GILAS” took place last November 6–10 at Northern Luzon Adventist
College. Five (5) schools of NLAC took part: the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of
Business Education, the School of Computing, the School of Nursing, and the School of Teachers
Education.
November 6, 2023. The official start of D-1 intramurals began with the final dry run for NLAC
intramurals at 6:00 a.m., followed by an afternoon devotional at the AB Hall, the parade of the
five schools, and the introduction of their Mr. and Ms. intramurals candidates. The torchlighting
and cauldron lighting were then performed. The day concluded with each school providing free
meals and a spectacular fireworks display.
The second day commenced with a devotional open to all students. Intramurals D-2 included
devotional and performing arts events hosted by Karen Cawaing, where each school performed
declamation, spoken poetry, and a speech choir. Limbo Rock, Tambalok, the Human Canal, and
the Sack Race make up Laro ng Lahi. Consequently, basketball, volleyball, badminton, soccer,
and table tennis are student favorites. D-3 was enjoyed by participating in Olympic events such
as track and field, javelin, and shot put. The Mr. and Miss Intramurals were conducted at AB
Hall at midday, with good-looking and captivating candidates from each of NLAC's five schools,
and the winners were the candidates of Mr. and Miss STE. The day concluded with a reflective
devotional performed on the lawn area. D-4 featured board games such as Word Factory and
Scrabble. Ball games and Laro ng Lahi: Tug of War, Arm Wrestling, and Tampalok. On the
evening, a talent show was held, and several students demonstrated their incredible talents.
Following the end of the day, the winner was declared: a student from STE, Anne Malacad. D-5,
the final day of intramurals, started with devotional, followed by semi-final and final games of
the ball games, and the remaining finals of all sports and games. The intramural success was
marked by the display of students' abilities, skills, and sportsmanship. The official overall tally
was announced on November 24, 2023, with each NLAC school rating SBE as the first runner-
up, SON as the second runner-up, STE as the third runnerup, SAS as the fourth runner-up, and
SOC as the fifth runner-up.

NEWS PRESENTER 5: RACHEL
Week of Prayer for spiritual growth and revival of students, faculties, and staffs in
Northern Luzon Adventist College specifically at Aguinaldo Balinao Hall, is conducted on
November 20 to 25, 2023. It is led by several inspirational speakers to convey a heart-whelming
important messages from God with different topics every session by just a theme, “Life has
Meaning.” The topics are: when you are loved, when you are in His will, when Christ is your first
and last, when you are vibrant, when you are in His side, when you are set free, when you are
walking with God, and when you walk by faith and not by sight. The speakers are: Ptr. Arnulfo
Castillo, Ptr. Damian Del Valle, Ptr. Tindale Abalos, Mrs. Lizette Abalos, Ptr. Oliver De Vera, and
Bro. Chuck Arboleda.
Six days that the week of prayer is been conducted. Each of the sessions gives highlights of
what really life having meaning to each individual, that even you feel unloved, hopeless, sinful,
leading astray, and even you cannot see any glimpse of light from the future, still the life has
meaning.
On the culmination day, Brother Chuck abolencia, a nobleman of God, is again the speaker with
at hand the message entitled, When You Walk by faith and not by Sight. This message invites
believers to walk solely in faith-driven by the grace of God, trusting Him not matter what rather
than relying solely on what meets the eye and flesh causing to stumbled on feet.
On this culmination day of the whole session of the week of prayer with the theme, “Life has
Meaning.” Four Souls accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior through baptism. As God
knocks in the hearts of the individual, whole-heartedly, if they will invite him to enter in, God
will live with them, and they will become in one with Him.
ANCHOR 2: Ministerial Association Small Group Music Festival Strikes a Harmonious Chord in

The event, hosted at Aguinaldo Bolinao Hall, brought together diverse musical talents within
the association, creating an uplifting atmosphere of unity and joy.
The festival showcased a variety of musical genres, ranging from soulful gospel melodies to
upbeat contemporary tunes. Attendees were treated to performances by small musical
ensembles comprised of members from different small groups, each bringing their unique flair
to the stage.
Reverend Jeremiah, the spokesperson for the Ministerial Association, expressed gratitude for
the community's overwhelming support. "The Small Group Music Festival was a testament to
the power of music in fostering connections and building bridges across our diverse
congregation. It was heartwarming to witness individuals from various walks of life coming
together to celebrate the universal language of music."
The event also served as a platform for local talent, providing exposure to aspiring musicians
within the Ministerial Association. Many attendees praised the festival for its inclusivity and the
opportunity it offered to showcase the musical gifts present in the community.
As the Ministerial Association Small Group Music Festival came to a close, Reverend Glenn
expressed optimism about the future. "This festival has laid the foundation for more
community-driven events that celebrate our shared values and bring people together. We look
forward to building on this success and creating even more opportunities for fellowship in the
future."
The Ministerial Association Small Group Music Festival proved to be a harmonious celebration
that struck a chord with the community, leaving attendees with lasting memories of music,
