If the pool closes during lessons due to thunderstorms or bodily fluid incident that lesson will be made up on a Friday during the session. Children under the age of 2 are required to wear a swim diaper during class. Reusable swim diapers are available to class participants for $5.00 If a lesson is missed due to personal reasons it cannot be made up. If a student will miss multiple lessons they may be transferred to an upcoming session at no charge. Parents of preschool children must remain on the pool deck but are not permitted in the water during class Youth parents may leave the pool deck during class but must stay within the building.

SKIP: Also known as Parent/Child is a class we offer to help babies and young children get used to the water. It is a great class for children and parents to learn and play while interacting with one another.
POLLIWOG: Children will become comfortable in the water while learning basic swimming and safety skills. This is a great class for beginners or fearful swimmers GUPPY: Freestyle and backstroke skills will be strengthened. Children will begin to focus on technique and will increase their endurance. MINNOW: Swimmers refine previously learned strokes, increase endurance, and are introduced to new strokes and skills such as breaststroke, diving, and butterfly. FISH: Swimmers work on swimming laps of previously learned strokes and fine tune swimming technique. FLYING FISH: This group works on skills of competitive swimming while emphasizing technique and endurance.
Preschool
PIKE: This class is for beginners. We work on basic strokes and becoming comfortable in the water. Great for fearful swimmers EEL: This class is for kids that are comfortable in the water. We learn how to swim without assistance and how to swim underwater. RAY: This class is for children who know how to swim without help across the pool. We work on all major strokes and some diving skills STARFISH: This class is for advanced swimmers and we mainly focus on perfecting their strokes and diving skills.
